Women of Influence

Side Note: I'll be completely honest, I've been very hesitant to post this because I know it can be a touchy subject for some. I've spent weeks reading over, editing, and picking apart this post piece by piece, but let's just get this straight: Women have influence. In the workplace, the church, and everyday life. Women's voices are powerful and deserve to be treated that way.

Eve was a woman of great influence. So I decided to study into influencers and there were two main things I noticed: Influencers influence people (obviously) and are easily influenced. Eve was the exact same way. We see in Genesis 3 just how easily Eve was influenced by the serpent. One minute, she understood God's command, the next, she was eating the fruit (Gen. 3:2-6, 2 Tim. 2:14). As easily as she was influenced, she was able to be an influence. She simply handed the fruit to Adam and humanity was changed forever (Gen. 3:6-8). Just like that. Let's not be too hard on Eve though... aren't we all just as easily influenced? Your influence is powerful. What is influencing us? What kind of influence are we being? The influence of Eve led to the fall of man. Our influence can lead men and women back to our Creator. What will you do with your influence?

I'll be real, ministering to people in my everyday life seemed so impossible until about a year ago, then I found a-get this- bracelet that completely opened my mind to new perspectives.
