when will my life begin?

i was listening to a song from the movie Tangled. the song is called “When Will My Life Begin?” and in the song she sings about her daily routine and how she does the same things every single day and by the end of the song she just wants to know when her life will actually begin. i’ve heard this song like a thousand times but this time it hit me.. we live our lives and have our same routines and then we ask ourselves why nothing ever changes. i wake up everyday and do the same morning routine, the same things during the day, and the same night routine but i’m always complaining and annoyed that nothing ever changes. if you don’t change something then nothing’s ever gonna change. be the change you want to see in the world. nothing will change until you do something different. the world we live in today will be the same exact world we live in when we’re 80 unless you do something different. your life will not change until you do something different. kinda like our relationship with God.. you can’t complain about not seeing God move or hearing him if you aren’t doing something different and trying to change your routine. you won’t grow without change. sometimes we get stuck in a routine because it’s comfortable and easy but you won’t grow. when you become uncomfortable you have no choice but to grow. you have one life and you never know when it could end. stop wasting your life living in the same routine but wish for change. Rapunzel got locked in a tower for years and lived out the same routine and wanted to finally be able to live her so she escaped and left the tower. if you want to see something different, you have to leave your tower. it’s your decision, are you gonna step out of your routine and grow or are you gonna stay where you’re comfortable and live the rest of your life locked away?
