1 samuel 16:7 “But the Lord said to Samuel, “Don’t judge by his appearance or height, for I have rejected him. The Lord doesn’t see things the way you see them. People judge by outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
have you ever had a moment where you didn’t really like yourself? like you glance in the mirror or take a picture and you don’t exactly like what you see? everyone has those moments. even the most confident people. let me tell you something, God didn’t create mirrors, man did. you were never created to know what you look like. imagine how confident we would all be if we didn’t know what we looked like. you were created with a confidence in who you are as a person, not a confidence in what you look like. you aren’t always going to love the way you look but that doesn’t make you any less beautiful. we are beautifully made. each and everyone one of us. it’s so easy to see beauty in others and not in ourselves, but God sees the beauty in each and every one of us. i mean he did create us in his image. the same God that create the moon, sea, and mountains, also created you. next time you catch yourself feeling down about yourself, remind yourself who you are. remind yourself who created you. dont forget who you are.
