i am growing

this season has been a season of growth for me. i’ve had to face a lot of difficulty which has caused me to grow. one thing God has been showing me over and over again is that, whether its your dreams or friendships, you can plant a seed but if you don’t water it or give it sunlight then it’s not going to grow. you have to put in effort or else it’s not going to grow. this also applies to our relationship with God. if we say, “ok God i’m gonna serve you” and then not press in or pursue him then your relationship will never grow. God never shows up if you’re not willing to receive. he never forces us to love him. God died for each one of us even though he knew we may never love him like he loves us. how crazy is that? don’t just say you’re a christian without living like Jesus. you have to pursue him in all you do. you have to wake up every morning with a heart full of love and go to bed every night with a heart full of thankfulness.
